So it probably (just a guess though) happened before storing the original text to database. Might be system automatically adding / in the text.

Because the error characters appears to be normal when I try to "edit" the message, but if I change to chinese interface and post it again, the issue appears again.

yes i twisted this 3 or four times DB is UTF8 webserver is UTF8 so i have no clue did you see in twitter my server is posting it right? [Link] ;-)

hi kiilo, I think it only happens when typing chinese under the english interface. So there's something wrong between saving the texts (POST) and the database. But I guess the db encoding should be correct, otherwise it would be ??? for all chinese.
